Pour scant ½ cup of the juice in a small
heatproof bowl, sprinkle the gelatin over the surface, and let stand
for 5 minutes. Set the bowl over a pan of simmering water and stir
until the gelatin melts and the liquid becomes clear, then stir in the
remaining juice.

Divide the strawberries between 2 large
wine glasses. Pour in enough juice to just cover the strawberries and
transfer to the refrigerator for 30 minutes, or until set. Keep the
remaining juice warm, making sure that the gelatin does not set. Pour
in the remaining juice and return to the refrigerator until set.
