Anti Aging Desserts and Bakes Recipe
Oaty
muesli is an excellent anti aging food, so it makes a great ingredient
in these chewy slices. As well as adding flavor, the dried apricots and
apples provide an extra boost of the valuable antioxidant vitamin E.

Ingredients :
Serves 8

75g / 3oz / ½ cup ready-to-eat dried
apricots, chopped

1 eating apple, cored and grated

150g / 5oz /1¼ cups Swiss-style muesli

150ml / ¼ pint /

cup apple juice

15g / ½oz / 1 tbsp soft butter

Method :

Preheat the oven to 190°C/375°F/Gas
5. Place all the ingredients together in a large bowl and mix well with
a wooden spoon until combined.

Press the mixture into a 20cm / 8in
non-stick sandwich tin (pan) with the back of a wooden spoon and bake
for 35-40 minutes, until lightly browned and firm.

Using a sharp knife, mark the fruit
muesli slice into eight equal-size wedges while it is still hot. Leave
to cool in the tin (pan).

When the muesli slice has cooled, break
into pieces and serve, or store in an airtight container.
