Dates have been used as a healthy and uplifting food for millennia. They are packed full of healthy, rejuvenating energy and contain natural plant chemicals which can help to revitalize the body and the metabolism.

Dates are packed with natural fruit sugars, which provide plenty of energy but are much kinder to the body than refined sugars. As well as providing energy, dates are a good source of calcium, which is needed for healthy bones.

Limes as Natural Antioxidants Supplements :

Limes are rich in antioxidant vitamin C, which can help to neutralize the harmful free radicals found in the body.

Ingredients :

Serves 1

  • 1 liter/ 1 3/4 pints / 4 cups water

  • 225g / 8oz dates

  • 2 limes

  • ice cubes, to serve

Natural Anti Aging Diet - Date Dynamo Anti-aging Juices

Method :

  1. Pour the water into a pan and heat until warm. Pour into a bowl, add the dates and leave to soak for 4 hours.

  2. Place a strainer over a clean bowl. Pour the dates and their soaking water into the strainer, then press the pulp through the sieve with the back of a wooden spoon, leaving the stones behind. Discard the stones.

  3. Juice the limes and stir the juice into the date mixture in the bowl. Pour the juice into a jug (pitcher) and chill thoroughly before serving in tumblers filled with ice.
