Anti Aging Desserts and Bakes Recipe
This
version of a traditional Russian dessert is brimming with the goodness
of lutein-rich strawberries. The addition of rose water gives the dish
an extra aroma.

Ingredients :
Serves 4

350g / 12oz / 1½ cups cottage cheese

175ml / 6fl oz / ¾ cup low-fat natural
yogurt

30ml / 2 tbsp clear honey
-
2.5ml / ½ tsp rose water
-
275g / 10oz / 2½ cups strawberries

handful of scented pink rose petals, to
decorate

Method :

Strain any free liquid from the cottage
cheese and tip the cheese into a strainer. Use a wooden spoon to rub it
through the strainer into a bowl.

Stir the yogurt, honey and rose water
into the cheese.

Roughly chop about half the strawberries
and stir them into the cheese mixture.

Line an unused, clean flowerpot or a
strainer with fine muslin and tip in the cottage cheese and strawberry
mixture. Leave the mixture to drain over a bowl for several hours or
overnight if there is time.

Invert the flowerpot or strainer on to a
serving plate, turn out the pashka and remove the muslin.

Decorate the pashka with the reserved
strawberries and pink rose petals. Serve chilled.
